Bohol Bee Farm is famous for its honey and organic food. We went to the Buzz Cafe, a branch of Bee Farm located in Island City Mall.

My dad ordered espresso coffee while my mom had lemon grass tea.

“Let’s drink a toast!”, said my mom.

She suddenly noticed that her cup is much larger than my dad’s!
She felt it quite hilarious and funny :p

Buzz Cafe served very nice muffins and drinks. A pot of honey would be served as well to substitute for sugar.

It was a coincidence that my climber friends went to Philippine for climbing at the same time. They climbed for 2 or 3 days, and then took a rest for one day. On their off-day, they came to Panglao island. We met in a small restaurant. Food there was so great and inexpensive.

Both my brother-in-law and one climber friend have the same nickname – A Guo.
A Guo the climber is my tutor on climbing. He is an instructor in iClimb, Chu-Pei.

After lunch, we went back to Isis Bungalow, took some pictures, and moved to Bahol Island.

那天下午才從工研院開完會 (感謝ICQ載我去坐車!),
一路轉巴士捷運到了中正紀念堂. (進場時已經幾乎要開場, 歐訓和小奈還以為我不來了 :p)

隨著舞者的肢體動作，
素白的帷幕之前，
從永字八法開始，
一幅幅流動的字畫就這樣舞出來了。

非常奇妙的感覺，
舞者的肢體不再只是肢體而已…
靜態中可以是中國書法的呈現，
也可以動態的呈現書法的力與美

甚至隨著長袖善舞 (亂用成語) 的舞者，
或急或緩的音樂中，透過衣袖的擺動，
直接而豐富的，獨舞。帶著飄逸的長袖如長長的墨跡，
優雅的旋轉，跳躍，拉出流暢的弧線

行草這支舞，融合中國武術和太極的動作，
畫出許多的圓。
大圓、中圓、小圓。
半圓、橢圓、四分之一圓。
我看到空氣中跳動著的大大小小的圈圈
快一點的圓，激烈情感的圓，
柔軟的圓，停滯下來的圓

或輕柔如青草在微風中彎了腰，
或堅定如屹立在風雨中的老樹。

我一直想起武俠小說中化書法為武功的段落，

記得嗎？當年張三豐臨空寫王羲之的「喪亂帖」，
「筆致無垂不收，無往不復，正是王羲之”喪亂帖”的筆意」

而後揣摩「武林至尊，寶刀屠龍。號令天下，莫敢不從。倚天不出，誰與爭鋒」

「寫了一遍又是一遍，那二十四個字翻來覆去的書寫，
筆畫越來越長，手勢卻越來越慢，到後來縱橫開闔，宛如施展拳腳一般。」 …

「這二十四個字中共有兩個『不』字，兩個『天』字，
但兩字寫來形同而意不同，氣似而神不似，變化之妙，又是另具一功。』

…… 雲門的行草，就把他具現化了吧。

很難有男人對美女不心動吧。

每當看到女孩迷人的微笑，完美的五官，姣好的身材，
你就情不自禁的動心。

啊，多麼美麗的女孩，要是可以跟她在一起多好。

而，基於某種奇蹟，她居然也愛上了你。

你試著和女孩溝通。

但是過了不久之後還是不知不覺的故態復萌。

你情不自禁的被她吸引，她美麗的眸子像是黑洞一樣，
一望上就再也離不開。

再度基於某種奇蹟，女孩聲稱她這幾年一直都還是喜歡你，
你答應了。你說你會給她更多的包容，
她也說，她長大了，這次再也不任性。

一兩天、一兩個禮拜、一兩個月，
… 稍有不慎，她卻又開始耍起公主脾氣。

她的美麗依舊，
但是她的任性卻也沒有一絲改變。

你也試著跟她溝通，但是你其實知道，
要一個人改變真的很困難…

你試著容忍她多一點，你試著在你可以做的到的情況下滿足她所有的要求。
… 但是你卻不知道 還可以忍受多久。
可以包容她一時，可是你卻一點都沒有把握，是不是能夠包容她

一輩子。

I am very embarrassed to say I was lighthearted when the government announced that Friday was off. It seemed to be a totally unluckly event. Typhoon Morakot caused a GREAT damage in Taiwan. Dozens of people washed away; many were dead or missed. More than fifteen houses disappear into the sea; some villages were even submerged. What a unbelievable power to cause these terrible event!

Anyway, at the same time, many touched stories shows the bright side of human. How helpful and kindly Taiwan people are.

Not only to rescue, to help settle down people who lost their home is also important. It’s said that more than 10 thousands need to move. May Ma’s government will perform better on assisting the victims to rebuild the buildings and helping them with their recovery work. Sincerely hope that we can cover the difficulties and recover from the disaster soon.

From long-term view, it may be a warning from our nature against too much development or unsuitable plants (e.g., betel palm). Maybe Taiwanese people seem to be kind of absent-minded. People may forget the disaster soon, and mourn our loss when the next disaster occurs.

在網路上買了早上 8:04 的高鐵到台北,
心想這樣到公司差不多九點, 這麼久沒來公司總是要裝個乖巧…

6:30 起來,
在高鐵摩斯吃個早餐,
聽到廣播說 8:04 到台北的車票已經賣完了,
很得意還好我有提前買票…

7:58 進 gate, 在車上發個呆小憩一下

一邊想著我今天有什麼事情要做,
當正在神遊的時候, 突然聽到廣播
“各位旅客, 台中站到了… We are now arriving Taichung… “

為什麼是台中!!!!!

好吧… 老實說我對系統真的不熟,
最近來I公司一直在做架設的工作,
真令人頭痛 orz…

現在的情形是，我desktop裝 XP
我有某台 linux 的 root 密碼,
我要在 linux 上裝一堆 server

但是因為這些 server 幾乎都是大程式,
很少能讓我 silence install 或者 text mode install [註1]
所以沒有 display 就讓我頭痛得不得了

怎麼辦呢？
於是我裝了一堆遠端遙控的程式,
諸如 vnc 或者 xrdp,
但是在經過幾天含辛茹苦(亂用成語)的測試,
都沒辦法搞定
(經過好友 g 的鑑定, 應該是被另外的 firewall (非本機 firewall) 擋住了)

於是我裝了神奇的 cygwin
雖然檔案龐大到需要下載很久, 不過看到這個畫面真好

最近實在太忙, 好久沒有新文章,
分享一篇工作上遇到的小問題充數一下 :p

We took a rest on the small island. Staying at a cool place, we talked with many local people. I met a sweet baby girl, whose name is Lai-Da. (I don’t know how to spell her name in Filippino.) She was very cute and sweet. Her eyes were twinkling, and her smile was lovely. I played with her and took lots of pictures for her

Later, we had rice balls and fish for lunch at Balicasag Island. Actually, I thought the rice balls are much like the Chocolate Hills. It is said that a foreign tourist saw the place and called them chocolate hills since they looked like Hershey’s kisses. In my opinion, if I can give them a name, I will call them Rice Ball Hills :p

After walking around the Balicasag Island, we went to a small island that even much smaller than Balicasag. Although it is tiny, with idyllic beaches, I think the Virgin Island is one of the most beautiful island in Philippine. It’s a tropical paradise indeed.

但我要說, Lai Da 小妹妹真的好可愛啊啊啊啊啊~~
剛才又翻了她的照片, 還是覺得可愛到爆表
即使是過了五個月的現在, 我還是記得她的名字!

That day, I met a South African. We had a short talk when taking the moving walkway. He worked for a ShangHai company and came to Taiwan for business. We exchanged the impression on ShangHai and Taipei.
ShangHai is more crowded and busy… It doesn’t mean that people in Taipei is not busy. Actually I think that ShangHai people are CRAZY busy.

During the first time I took a taxi in ShangHai, the driver honked almost all the time. He drove vary fast in a zig-zag manner. The traffic signs seemed to be nothing important. We even went against the roadway! What a crazy taxi experience!!

However, the taxi rate is not expensive. The first 3 kilometers cost only RMB 11. After that, every kilometer costs RMB 2.1. Comparatively, taxi rate in Hsinchu is much more expensive :Q The rate starts at TWD 90 (RMB 19).

By the way, I guess that most of ShangHai taxies are Volkswagen Santana. Volkswagen seems to be popular there.
